My E46 325Ci

Hi,

So I had this car for just over a year and it's about the go out of Motorplan. All I have done so far is the tinting of the windows and smoking of the lenses(not sure if I like the matt look).

Plans for when the Motorplan expires:
Complete new TNT exhaust system including branches
Chip, have not decided who is going to do that.
18" E46 M3 rims
Black kidneys grills

Suggestions/comments are welcome.

Pics(advice on attaching pics would be appreciated):

Lovely car bud, f/lift with Mtech kit is rare and awesome....
Yeah the matt t/lights not great, would also consider a different wheel than the M3 one. The 18' E46 Individual wheel is a winner.....

Yeah Car Looks Great!! Also not a fan of the matt Back Light... Try normal smocked laminX or standard lights. ( just my opinion ) Otherwise awesome car!

Looking good, but please return the tail-lights to original. I like it with the current rims.
Why not try a de-cat first and the OEM silver tailpipes?

Car looks great. I've always like a E46 CI in black

Car looks great as is.

A Decat, CAI, and chippie will definitely help add one or two ponies, but thats where I believe that it should end. though once you start its very hard to stop.

i kind of like the rear lights, but it need something tinted the same in the front to balance it out... maybe the front indicator section...

Thanks to all for the advice.

It's decided, I have to do something about the rear lights, either use clear LaminX to cover the matt or get another set like this http://www.ddmtuning.com/product.php?II=114. I doubt that the matt paint can be remove.

The current front wheels are buckled therefore I'm considering the change to the M3 wheels as I currently have a set. All I need are tyres, I can change to another set of 18" wheels later if I want.

you could sand the tint off then put clear LaminX over if you want to take the tint off

gloss tinted lights will be lost with the colour of the car...

+1 on removing the matt look. Lamin-x is a much better option.
Car looks lovely as is. It won't cost you more that R500 a wheel to straighten. Don't put the M3 wheels on. Keep these and repair until you source a better wheel. The E92 335 19" look hot on the E46 Ci.

I went back to the guy who did the matt lights and asked him to remove the paint. He tried using a heat gun which was completely useless. I eventually managed to remove the paint myself but realised the heat gun has damaged the plastic underneath. Anyone knows where I can find a new set?

Nice car, if possible take away the tint on the back lights, might look nicer, if not re-tint it
