SO, today I sold the 540i. And wont lie, I felt a strong pang of sadness in my chest as the keys left my hands for the last time. I guess 6 years and 80 odd thousand kilometers has a way of creating an emotional bond, even if it is to what is just a collection of metal, glass plastic and rubber.
