 Nice, Jandre! I'm still a bit stuck between the modding bug and the home-loan bug. Guess who's winning at the moment? :(

Shew R32 k. Damn that's a lot of money to throw at a 4 cylinder. Faiz, that's that place on the corner by Wetton circle if i'm not mistaken. The car looks brilliant now and with the new engine i hope your gonna keep that car for the next 10 years at least. But one thing I must say is you are truely a BMW fanatic seeing that you only used original parts when you couldve gone the angel eye route etc.

Also she looks hot.:clap::clap:

Thanks 320 ICE. Well you know what, i bought the car as a daily drive for my wife. Personally i would rather have a 325/328, but she travels 100km a day, including plenty of peak hour driving, and worst of all, she has a very heavy foot. My main objective with the car is to get it as near, but better than original. Thus, no angel eyes or brushed alluminium gearknobs etc. Nothing wrong with them, just not what i wanted.

Many of you may have seen some of these photos before, so I apologize. I decided to show you what my car looked like when I got it, what I did to it, and where it is now.

Some pics of the day I picked it up from the dealer.

Then I installed foglights in the front, complete with original dashswitch

After this came the new frontseats (from an e46).

I swopped out the steering wheel with a good one from a salvage yard, rather than having the old one recovered.

Then came the revived parcel shelve.

Then the engine rebuild.

Then I upgraded the indicators to clear.

After this I installed the new rear diffusor and debadged the car.

And finally, I fitted 17" wheels form the e46 sportpack.

I think it is time to stop this madness now.
Although, it was not that expensive to do. All this, including the engine rebuild has worked out to R 32 000.00.

i said i was gonna stop the madness a year ago after spraying my car...allas i am happy to say it never ends :)
nice work!

Be glad be verry glad you don't drive a 7 series with 19 inch rims! cheapest tyre is round about 4000 a tyre!:dropjaw: and the more expensive ones at 7000 a tyre!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gert, your going to find that the 18" are not much better. Actually pretty much any decent tyre larger then 17 is hovering round bout the 4k mark...

AndrewB, the only real issue was the seatbelts. The seatbelt mountings on the e36 and e46 differs slightly. That really was the only improv.

I have updated my original post with the nose job that was done on The POFS lately.

This is the pic as well.

The M bumper really picks the car up, you not considering putting in the later kidneys with the wider surrounds?

Maybe WyKid. I can't really decide if I like the wider surrounds, or not.

Now, if only I can get those blasted M3 springs that M_POW so rudely stole from under my nose. :)
