Many of you may have seen some of these photos before, so I apologize. I decided to show you what my car looked like when I got it, what I did to it, and where it is now.

Some pics of the day I picked it up from the dealer.

Then I installed foglights in the front, complete with original dashswitch

After this came the new frontseats (from an e46).

I swopped out the steering wheel with a good one from a salvage yard, rather than having the old one recovered.

Then came the revived parcel shelve.

Then the engine rebuild.

Then I upgraded the indicators to clear.

After this I installed the new rear diffusor and debadged the car.

And finally, I fitted 17" wheels form the e46 sportpack.

And lastly, the nose job.

I think it is time to stop this madness now.
Although, it was not that expensive to do. All this, including the engine rebuild has worked out to R 32 000.00.

Thanks guys.

@ Andrewbuch - I know of a set of 4 sportpack wheels, beautifully refurbished, now available if your interested.

@M_POW. I am looking at the M bumper, but I am in two minds. See the car is my wife's daily drive, and I doubt a M bumper with splitters will stand the test of time, if you know what I mean. (I need to have this bumper sprayed anyway, as she just recently clipped a pavement in a parking lot.)

@LZ,I am seriously think of changing Pofsie's name now. She is starting to behave. (Touch wood).

Needless to say, I have spent quite some time in, and under an e36, so I have learnt alot.

225/45/17. I have Dunlop 7000 D on the back ( got them with the rims) but had to change two tyres that i was not bargaining on right now. Picked up an american tyre called Maxtrek from supa quick for R 820 each all in. Will replace all 4 tyres with something decent before the winter though.

Thats the other thing, I could have gotten a set for R3000 with tires (conti's) with about 50 - 60 % tread (Thread For freerider). But then worked out that If & when I needed to replace them It would cost about R6000 for a set..:dropjaw: at moment I cant afford that.. my dad pays maintenance etc on the car I am using from him. and I just pay him a fee per KM I use it which included petrol & some of the maintenance.. He said I could get the 17's but then I would have to pay for them and the replacement of tires :cursin:

Tyres aint cheap. Wheni bought the rims, the other two tyres looked decent with good tread left. When we fitted them, we saw both had some damage on the tread surface. One had a chunk of rubber ripped out, the other one had a nasty cut in it. Leave nothing to chance, and rather replaced them.
