I AM loving it!

Money shots are plenty with this car!

I dig it, but (my very personal) opinion, i would tkae off the Alpina badge on the grill till you fit some Alpina bits. you got the OEM+ running so well..ratehr keep it like that without something there, thats not there type of thing....

But otehrwise bro...those widened bottlecaps are TOPS!!!!

Thanx once again guys, initially I loved the colour but now that I own it I'm bored of it... I love this forum as so many of the guys say awesome things... Maybe because of the numbers but thanx a lot. I don't understand how I stayed away since 2014
Also, the Alpina badge is gone loooooong ago. It wasn't oem in any case and I guess I had unnecessary cash to spend on it. Has anyone ever had dents removed and if yes what did it cost. If I remember they charge per panel. It's very minor so yeah.

About the bottlecaps... A few people in my circle of friends feel it's too popular and its the next bbs... And I'm there like oh really. Well I will continue loving the drive while you feel that way.

Best shot of my wheel in my belief

[video=youtube]

This is how the car sounds after installing my Brospeed branches

Car has better sounds in the earlier revs and more power up top. Sanjeev at powerflow is a demon and knows exactly what I wanted out of my car

That rear end needs an update as the paint is the only thing that makes me sad now

Hey buddy, it depends on you that's what I tell guys there's a number of options regarding the wheels

Priciest would be hi tech in Alberton they charge 14k for this work but that's flawless work

Then there is the option of places like the wheel shop who require a set of 17s to butcher for the lips and make the set with an additional 6k works out cheaper but not by much

Then there's the route I took. Low rider customs in Booysens I paid 6500 for labour 1500 for bottlecaps (could be had for less) 3000 for rice tyres as I don't use the car much and finally 1300 for new center caps plus 300 for emblems from bmw

So in total I spent

Just over 12500 for what you see including tyres

Work on about 6-7k if you have the wheels in top notch and tyres

Thanx gentlemen... Would have loved a b25 though but it's ok I rarely drive her and I still smile whenever I do.

I grew up wanting a Mk1 small light rabbit until I got into a box. Changed years of want into a moment of need.

Knew I needed an e30. Wish it were as Clean as Alex... But that's a dream lol

I ask myself why BMW didnt make rims like this themselves!

Freakin nice car, freakin nice wheel mod !

If they did that in Germany, folks here in SA would have found a way, to stagger then into 19's.

I think it's because as a company they go with what's in style at the time...

What people liked then isn't necessarily what we like now. I mean I recall when I was in high school everyone wanted LENSO Eagles and then it was bbs etc etc... I'm certain this will be an old style eventually I mean stance guys are going 14 inch 10j wheels and its growing in some groups

Thanx so much for the compliment bud

The most thirsty e30 m20 motor even when they were new... Something I found out later.

Thing is before I bought this I seen a one owner 318i and the owner wanted too much and when I got the 320i I went to him and he laughed and said the thing is gonna make holes in my pockets and he was right.

I'm not phased though, it turns fuel to noise and its a noise I love hehehe

I actually got it from a good friend if mine. I wanted the small rubber spoiler and he had this. Initially I didn't want it because it's not oem blah blah (5k for an oem one the last I checked)

However when I went to see it it was in fact not fiberglass but plastic and it had mounting bolts exactly where the oem spoiler has mounting bolts and I knew I had to have it.

Still haven't seen another full plastic spoiler as there are such bad fiberglass reps out there
