Sorry for the late reply- it is the down pipe which replaces the down pipe & catalater converter of the 135i which ups the performance because the only difference between M1 & 135i is software and boost settings and throttle response. As the Technicians @ BMW explained to me, there is more kits which BMW offers which takes you 135i to 240kw with other odd and ends and your car still stays in Maintenance plan!
There is quite a bit of OEM parts to order which can up the performance and can still stay in maintenance plan but please check that first! If you want more details you can ring BMW and they will advise you! There is quite a bit you can do via BMW which keeps your car legal in maintenance plan coz there are a few people out there who got their Maintenance plans revoked coz of mapping and fiddling as I heard and saw with a E92 M3 with only 8000 km on his clock. SAD! Apparently even adding rims that OEM approved can get certain stuff on your plans revoked like wheel bearings, brakes etc etc etc. - I have a friend of BMW who informs me of these stuff......good to know sometimes.
