My best QM time yet in the twin

On saterday 20th March i took part in a QM challenge at ODI
I was entered into the open class and was up against a few modded S3's, Scooby Impreza STi, Turbo charged corolla etc

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I ran a 13.4 with exit speed of 174km/h and I came first in the open class :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Now the best part of it all is that my 335 is 100% bone stock
95 pump fuel, run flats at 2.7 bar etc etc etc

I removed the BMS DCi due to the car going to BMW on the thursday and just couldn't be bothered putting them back on at the time

I had about 8 runs and never once ran slower that a 13.8
A couple of 13.7's, 13.6's and a 13.5 and then my best time of 13.4 was my last run :clap:

I must say, this has to be the BEST car i have ever owned to date and just love driving her

Im hoping to better my time this weekend somehow :excited:

Awesome time there bud. If you run in colder conditions you can get a very low 13. STOCK!

Bud how did you race @ ODI on the 20th of march? Just spoke to Johan (plummer) the vice president of ODI and the last event was on the 28th of Feb and i was there no 335i's raced!
Track was closed and gates locked on the 20th!!

There is a event on the 28th of march..bring your cabbie and come race.. ill be there!

WOW, seems i must have had an out of body experience then along with the other 40 plus cars that were there and the drivers :shocked:

Seems your friend Johan (plummer) Vice president of ODI is clearly not kept up to date of the track meets which is unfortunate as it makes people post things like this on the forum

There was a Team ST private event held at ODI on 20th March 2010 in which i participated as posted in my original topic

Now if you would like to know anymore info seeings as though you obviously doubt my truthfullness, give Herbie a call 078 43 66 111
You can also ask him if he was there on 20th March and whether there was a LeMans Blue 335i there :thumbsup:

Find it very strange that you wouldnt find this kind of stuff out before dissing someone you dont even know or have ever met on the forum, :nono: was it my time that upset you?

No dude your time is awesome! Im a guy for the sport and love it in all means! I phoned Plummer today to get some info for our golf that we are going to race there this weekend but the fuel tank is in the car! so needed to get the ins and outs of what MSA regulations holds regarding this matter.. So i asked him why we didnt get invites for the 20th as im an ODI club member! And he was 100% sure there was no events held on that given date!
Soz didnt mean to flag you and most definitely not upset about your wild times! i just wanted to get clear on this

Hey forsure! I just decided im going to race on sunday! 4th gears syncro is broken but ill race for the sake of it! Will chill on the snap changes! Sweet hope we can get some more of the Fanatics there this time! Im scared of this golf we built! Its wild.. had some runs on my VBOX today and hit a 14.5 on a shitty road! So 50/50 chance it will give me a run for my money on sunday! worst of all its 100% N/A 4cyl FWD!!! but its setup is more than pefect! After this event it will be running on Methanol and Nitro Methane! We are aiming for 12sec runs before the end of this year!
Shot bud soz again! Ill meet up with you on sunday! I should get there around 7 - 8ish Not atending 1KM only 1/4mile!
