My Alpine White E46 330i Sport

So I was on my way to a meeting in town sometime in August.. I approached an amber robot and stopped, I was stationary for a few seconds before I got rear-ended by an old Isuzu bakkie.. Jumped off the car and the driver's question to me was, "why didn't you shoot the robot, I expected you to go straight through" I shudder to think that this is the mentality of drivers on the road today... :skit: :YesNo:
The car has been at the panel beaters since then and I am thankful that the damage wasn't bad at all, mainly cosmetic. I have to be honest, to say I am missing my car is an understatement of note... I've been through to see the car at least once a week to check on progress and make sure everything is perfect.. I'm so OCD that the panel shop is tired of me and they will be done this week :rollsmile: I am going to pick up my baby on Friday :joy: It's been a long wait... :thumbdo:

This post is long overdue.. But I wanted to get everything in order before the update.
So after months of waiting, I finally got my car back.. Rightly speaking it was in my possession toward the end of October but me being the pedantic person I am, decided to keep on nagging the panel shop until I was satisfied with the car. Very happy that only genuine BMW parts were used in the repair and that the quality of the work was up to standard.
Whilst the car was at the panel shop, I got itchy fingers and decided to try and tick a mod or two off my long (read, expensive) list. I bought the genuine BMW clear retrofit kit (front and rear lights), the mono black and white emblems, as well as changed the faulty cassette deck to a Business CD player, just so happens that it can play MP3's as well :rollsmile:

I actually wanted to do the xenons in December but all of my money has gone on the cooling system overhaul :fencelook: Still a bit of preventative maintenance to be done so visual mods are on hold for now :YesNo:

It looks the same as the CD player in your car. Perhaps you are confusing the business CD (split screen) with the Professional unit (single screen)? I'll take a pic and upload it :thumbs:
I bought the unit from a forum member sometime last year but only got around to putting it in January :tiptoe:

VSomai quoted me on the xenon retrofit and angels.. Had plans to do that but unfortunately that is on the back burner for now :hammerhead: At least I've ticked off 3 expensive mods on my list :rollsmile:

I used plastidip on the kidneys, disassembled it sprayed no issues. Been on the car almost 1&1/2 years now.
I like my chrome trim :rollsmile:
