I am going to stick to the grey yes. With my new seats, I would be a fool not to.:)

My dash is the same colour as the one you have there.

It's beyond words... It's in excellent condition. :excited:

One day when I'm big (earning substantial cash) I'll have a 540i like this. Want to strip it completely down (excluding things like ABS unit!), then rebuild her again. What did you use to clean the head? Was it that Wynns carb cleaner lurking in the background?

Thanks:):)

Exterior body needs a little work.

To do the cleaning I used Castrol engine cleaner (Don't bother with anything else) and yes, Wynns carb cleaner here and there.

The trick is I took the heads outside drenched them in engine cleaner and then used a decent Pressure cleaner to "strip" the crud off. very messy business, but I needed the parts very clean to continue

That's a pretty good idea... Will use that method in the future...

Quite possibly the cleanest E34 I've come across in a long time. It's just a fantastic car in every sense of the word, and you can really see the time and attention Rick put into it.

It's in safe hands.

Enjoy it mate!

My passengers used to hate me, they were told not to kick or scuff the door linings on entering and departing, and told to place their ass in the centre of the sport seats in order not to crush the leather side bolsters.

I think my E39 knows I sold it's friend and is cross with me. Leaked half it's oil out today and made funny noises half way home. I miss my reliable E34, but I know it's in good hands, and I hope you gain as much enjoyment out of it as I did creating it, you have a very unique E34 there Bud, and I can only wish you the happiest and safest of motoring enjoyment.
