Those new takkies must feel lovely

They do, launching is considerably better and lucky for me since i had the coilies with the old tyres, i was able to compare them both.

Awesome work Sash, do you plan on lowering the can now that you have new tyres fitted?

I have lowered it, but not by much, it looks good, doesn't touch anywhere which was my main concern. I have the pics, just need to find them. I back up my pictures to google photos and recently google photos only opens on some devices, not at work( this i get), or home (i dont understand it as it seems intermittment)

Found them, seems to work better through my phone...
Top is after bottom is before
My guess it is about 20mm lower than stock, sits pretty level.

To most it might not even look lowered, but I like it... For now

Shout out to Mo from Ultra Racing, Kimesh from Fastoy performance and @Nikhil for assisting in some troubleshooting without changing my tuner lol.

JEALOUS!!!!!!

Looks awesome sir. Cant believe the coast of shocks (OEM and similar from Koni etc) its really ridiculous what we have to pay here. There is so much on offer for these cars in the UK and at relatively cheap prices compared to here. At first I did not notice the height difference, think the angle of the comparison photo is different, but the 3/4 front shots you can see the drop, especially at the front. That looks very nice and always has been my idea of how the car should look - as you say around 20mm down from stock. I would say an inch front and rear is what I would look for and thats about 25.4mm.

Very very nice :praise::praise:

Thank you.

Yeah, there's just so many options overseas, I used to buy parts of ebay, but now, customs does not make it viable to purchase single items.

The items I do like on eBay though.... Only come in fiberglass and still costs a packet

Thanks guys

I was also surprised at the mileage, but honestly the last 5000km or so was on borrowed time while waiting for the coilovers to arrive and be installed.

Car sits lekker for a old ballie car

More pics! :)
Yeah, been meaning to take some decent shots, but time is not on my side.

Just a small update, I sprayed my oem grills, but it always peeled. I kept painting them and finally decided to bite the bullet and replace them. I had the option of original design, gloss black or dual slat gloss, I preferred the dual slats.

You can how 'nice from far, far from nice' the previous grills were.

Obligatory clean whenever I open any part and refit, amazing how much better the car looks with those cross supports being shiny and clean.
