Some Updates
About a month ago i picked up a pure carbon diffuser, thankfully it was quite a simple install, i remember fitting a gloss black one on my 330d a few years back and it fought me until the end, needed a heat gun and everything, i guess you never know with fitment of aftermarket parts.
Also @johndoe MMS Auto was kind enough to give the car a full inspection on a Sunday as i was driving from Johannesburg to Durban on the following Wednesday. special mention that Clints workshop is always neat and clean and he is quite thorough in all his checks.
only slightly concerning issue he picked up was a broken exhaust clip, not sure how this happened but I'm assuming it was when the dp was fitted.
anyway it wasn't a train smash and i will get it replaced soon.
Happy to report all went well on the 1500km return trip to Durban, had some fun on the twisties before pmb as usual, only gripe is the fuel tank is small and both trips going and coming i had to stop to fill up halfway to be safe. I think i could avoid this if i filled up just before the drive and not a few days before doing some intown driving.
car was absolutely filthy and had a mini valet done when i got back.
man,I thoroughly enjoy driving this car.
