My 330i with Ellipsoids

I prefer the M-Sports.

Think the Ellipsoids are more for the conservatives (read older ).

I picked up a set of Ellipsoids recently with decent tyres on them, so I decided to fit them on. Still can't decide if my "older" 18" M sport looks better or the Ellipsoids. I kinda like the clean look of the Ellipsoids, but also the sporty looks of the other ones. Well, for now, I'm keeping both sets until I decide what to do.

The thing I like about the Ellipsoids is that they appear to look much larger than the M sports. I guess it's just an optical illusion created by the design.

Would be interesting to see, but I would guess it would not look that good, except if on something like a red or yellow car where it doesn't matter if the details of the wheels get lost a bit, but that is just me.

True that and It would much better if you had vented disks, picture this in black on a E46 M3 it would add to that wide stance.....

I saw an E90 330i on the E90Post forum which was "blacked-out" and he had also painted his Ellipsoids black - was satin finish iirc, but he also painted the ring around the roundels black. Didn't look too bad if you like that sort of thing - basically everything on the car was black, and de-badged...
