Damnit, now THAT is sweet ! .. msm, I really like these wheels ! what size tyres fit on them ?

Went with 225/40/18 all round. Rims are 8 and 8.5J so it was within spec.

ok cool, geeze. I'm forever seeing people use smaller size wheels on their E46's .. I think st. lunatic was on drugs, lol ..
my E46 has 235 front, and 255 rear wheels o_O 17" .. I think I can take the N1 south buccleu interchange at 200 easy ...

I'm damn sure gonna try !

In my opinion 18" is the biggest wheel you can fit on an e46 anything bigger just looks ridicules, but that is just me.

nice upgrade, looks good...:thumb:

The e46 18" Individual wheel also looks good on these cars.

MSM - What tyre pressure do you keep your tyres at? Since the e46 manual does not show for 18's i have been trying a few different setups but i get a slight vibration between 120km and 140km. I had the wheels balanced and they are not buckled or anything.

Strangely enough I'm getting a slight vibration at around 80 and 120 only and nothing between that. Also fine up to 160 so far. At 80, the vibration is also when braking, so it MIGHT be my discs, but I don't think so.

I was running 2.3 all round. I just changed to 2.4 front and 2.8 rear this morning on the way to work. Will observe in the next few days and let you know.

What pressures are you running and what did you experience the worse/least vibration with.

On my previous (OEM) set of 17s, I had a slight vibration, but increased the pressures a bit and it went away. Will still need to experiment with the 18s.

Front - 225/40 - 2.4bar
Rear - 235/40 - 2.6bar

I use to fill the same with the 17's, but he ride was smooth at any speed even thought the tyres where showing the metal on the insides. Should i lower or increase it for the 18's?

Vibration is only from 120km till 140km, before and after its perfect.
