So about 4 years back ,I started looking for a Z4 coupe , an M preferably , but at the time I didn’t have the ‘cahoonas’ and opted for the 3.0si instead.
My thread on this https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=79245
Fast forward to a few months back and I was really tempted by this thread https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=92670&pid=1424577#pid1424577
But I needed to sell my 3.0 first and I knew this would go quick so I didn’t get my hopes up.
Then I seen it advertised at a dealer during the lockdown that was willing to do a trade in ,I had to wait a month, I loved the 3.0 but the M was calling so I bit the bullet and now she’s mine.
They might look the same but the M is a completely and utterly different car, the way it feels , the way it drives , the specialness of the whole experience is incredibly worth it.
The car was owned by 2 fanatics before , so I did my homework in contacting both of them asking for advice.
So a special thanks to @Peter@AEW and @Legacy for all the love, care and maintenance done to it.
I intend to look after it just as well for many years to come IA.
Before collecting it from the dealer there were 3 issues.
1) The nav screen was dead, I did some homework and stripping and thanks to @Gizmo for hooking me up with a new unit to get it sorted.
2) Did not have a spare key, so I got one yesterday.
3) Oil leak, this will be attended to this week with an oil change and some ceratec.
