My 1993 Ice White 316i -> 328i Conversion-> S50 Conversion

When I sold my Acid Green 328i I kept the single 63mm freeflow exhaust system knowing it would come in handy one day.

I fitted it to my white e36 but wasn't a fan of the dual tips, so in staying true to the heritage of my white e36, I cut them off and replaced it with a single tip.

Thank you guys, Im so in love with the torque! In 5th gear from 120-170km is so fast it pushes me into the seat, don't know why I didn't do this conversion to begin with.
:cartel:

I no longer feel the lag of the 18's, would be nice to throw on the 17" style 29's to feel the difference of lightweight wheels again.

Future plans are to build a normally aspirated 3.2lt M52 using a M54B30 crank and 86mm pistons. But for now Im enjoying the 6cyl soundtrack and extra torque from the M52B28.

Are you gonna use Superboss Pistons for the 3.2 build?
I have used them in the past with great success, just need to take some measurements of one to see if it will have the right compression in the M52.

I recently swapped the front seats out for my black Z4M coupe set, has made such a difference to the comfort and support over the e36 individual seats. Given the nature of the car, they were a better fit over the touring. My touring now has E63 M6 seats.

Tested out the support at Petrolheads4pets at Redstar, spent time on the car a week before the event installing a E90 6spd with a single mass 6kg flywheel. I also installed Bilstein E36 M3 shocks and H&R 40mm drop springs with M3 offset front shock top mounts and lastly new OEM 330i discs with textar pads. Fitted the semis at the track, the car drove flawlessly!

While my style 29's are being upsized to 18" I though I can take the opportunity of running the 18" VMR 705's temporarily.

The trio.

Couple more of the 705's.

Thanks guys. With the raised height from the h&r springs the e36 can be used as a daily. In fact it has more ride height than my e46 right now, lol.

The rims are nice, but I prefer the previous set.

Also... that spoiler... ugh... remove it, take it out back, and shoot it. Repeatedly.

Otherwise, your car looks amazing!

were the seats a direct bolt in?

Pretty much.

Original BTCC CF spoiler is staying, I love it! Perfect spoiler for my touring car theme, plus its functional.:ty:

I had my 17inch style 29's BBS split rims upsized by HiTech to 8.5Jx18 which were supposed to be ET41 but when I collected them they were ET30, HiTech is busy sorting out their mess-up so should hopefully have them back in a week or so.

Here is what it looked like before.

I also ditched the stock airbox for my custom CAI, I use a BMC dual cone 100mm filter and I fabricated a bell-mouth 100mm to 76mm ram tube. The shield is also my own design.

Lastly, I have an OEM E36 M3 GT front splitter that I have been thinking of fitting to the E36 for sometime, I would have to fabricate my own brackets though as my bumper is aftermarket and the brackets will cost a fortune. Will do it at a later stage.
