Sorry for the long wait for an update.
So i got the car back but it's back with the Body shop again to sort out some issues with reassembly that i wasn't happy with.
Owner was more than happy to resolve the issues.
Paint looks really awesome though and i'm very pleased with the color.
Really pops in the sun.

Here are some updated photo's.
Ignore the fuel cap door, they were still polishing that.
Last photo is in the sun at home, tape on the side was to hold the bit of trim down cause the clip broke so i need to get another one.

needs some low now

I agree, the front is a bit too high for my liking.
I don't want it stupid low but just to close the gap at the front a bit, the rear looks fine to me.
Spoke to Sean a while back already about H&R lowering springs which apparently will work well with the Bilstein shocks i have on the front.

Oh shit! I thought the engine was out, and thats why it was riding that high!

Yeah, that needs to come down a lot!

Unfortunately i didn't have the funds for an engine out respray so they could do the engine bay so yea that height is with the engine in.
As far as i know those are the stock springs but i think standard they are all a bit high in the front except for the M5 and maybe the V8 models.
My father had a 91 730i and was also a little high in the front.

I'm dreaming here but i would like to have a N54 engine fitted one day and then respray the engine bay while the motor is out.
Now though still got the original M50TUB25

Thank you Ricky appreciate your willingness to help me out but according to Realoem the part number is 51131946258, and looks like the pic below.
Also Realoem actually refers to it as a clamp not a clip like i said.

Long time since i updated this thread due to an ongoing case with the ombudsman against a certain body shop.

But some good stuff has happened since, i got my rims re-done by The Mag Workshop.
Considering the color of the rims are supposed to be Shadow Chrome and we all know how difficult it is to get the color right as well as the rims being replica and not original, i think they did a brilliant job and i did ask for a darker shade since i don't like it when it looks close to plain chrome.

Shop also found that 2 of them were buckled so now its like driving a different car, drives nice and smooth no little wobbles at speed.
So i'm very happy right now and will continue to use The Mag Workshop in future.

It did rain when i picked the rims up so no pics of them on the car but i did take some from before they fitted them.
