Quite Impreessive! you have lots of time on your hands.

I cant wait to one day get an e30 325i or e30 Touring to do this on. You have inspired me

I have been lucky to meet some cool people with the right skills who could help me.

Get the e30 touring, they are super cool in my book.

So I think we need to ask the Gurus a quick question on Injectors. We removed the intake manifold this weekend to replace all the vacuum pipes and gaskets ect as well as clean it. we found that some of the injector nozzles were slightly hard and brittle as well as one with a slight crack on it. Should the Nozzles be replaced? Or will they be fine as is?

<a href="http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/lordicon232/media/WP_20140706_14_13_33_Pro_zps8e8d2b07.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y527/lordicon232/WP_20140706_14_13_33_Pro_zps8e8d2b07.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo WP_20140706_14_13_33_Pro_zps8e8d2b07.jpg"/></a>

I found the leak on the pipe that runs from the power steering pump to the reservoir, replaced the clamps and it seems to have done the trick!!! :joy: :joy: :joy:

Flushed the coolant system ad broke one of the clamps while putting it back together :flyfun: :argh:

Will need to get a new exhaust done as it is full of holes.

The car runs much better now, softer idle, more power!!

Replaced the instrument cluster with a donor one that I got from "Solo Man" thanks very much for the donation. Now at least the temp and fuel gauges are working.

Thanks very much again to master mechanic "Nickhill" without his help none of this would have been possible.

This car is awesome to work on! I have learnt a lot while taking it apart and putting it together again. Compared to working on my E36 and E46 there are a lot of massive differences. And the car has waaay more power after all the vacuum leaks were fixed, idles silently epic project this :thumbs:

They only had the red so will be changing the vacuum hoses to black, I'm undecided how I feel about the rest.

When you see red hoses in 6months time you going to cry, or anytime a dirty hand touches them...These colours are used for non bmw show and shine competition stuff or exhibition. Their colours dull really quickly and they stain really easy. Always bet on black hoses! Besides, you restoring a classic bmw, not a supra.
