Nice progress on the car, how's the difference now with the JB4?

You can definitely feel the difference! These cars respond so well to minor mods even. I'll update with some dyno graphs from dyno days I've attended.

Black...so rewarding for a car.
Nice treats you gave it as well.

How's the traction if you flatten it out from lift off?

A black car is amazing... When its clean - and that only lasts a short while:smilebounce:

Traction isn't bad if you push the DTC button once. Otherwise it interferes too much! You can get a decent launch off the line.

Post the new mods :bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo:

Soon, very soon! I just have so many other posts to catch up on...

Seeing as the car was still too quiet I thought I'd try delete the secondary cats.

I took the car to Powerflow Randburg:

I will try upload a sound clip now. But it definitly sounds better!

It quite loud from the outside with the Can flap open but sounds like a stock car on the inside when cruising.

Here is a sound clip of the cold start:

Enjoy!

Last year sometime I attended the BMWfanatics dyno day at KAR.

I entered the car and ran it on map2 of the JB4 with my downpipes installed:

Power was 225wkw and 480 Nm. Not too bad but obviously there is a lot more to be had!

Here are a few pics of the day:

Last year some time I was lucky enough to get my car detailed and Ceramic coated.

I thought the paint was in pretty good condition but after seeing the results I realized how it could look. I'll let the pictures talk:

Looking hot. And those downpipes.....:inlove::inlove:
Are those done by TMSS by any chance? And any CEL?

Haha thanks man they are pretty good quality downpipes - They are actually from the USA, I think they are VRSF downpipes.

No CEL on the cluster but when I read the codes in the JB4 is says "Catless downpipes detected"

Any issues from the Cops with the number plates on the windscreen?

Yeah the cops pull you over every chance you get and want to give you a fine - not worth it:roflol:

Rather just put them on with Velcro and take them off when parked off somewhere

I've always liked the black and gold colour theme so I took this theme to the brake calipers.

These cars have such nice looking brake calipers but being grey stock they get kinda lost behind the wheels.

This job was quite a DIY mission and took me a week to complete all 4.

Now before everyone loses there minds over the //M stickers I want to apologize in advance:fencelook: They look awesome but I regret that and will probably change the stickers pretty soon.

Anyways onto the pics:
