So after spending countless hours reading up on the work the good doctor does on these sort of cars, i thought to myself, if im going to mod her, i might as well make sure shes breathing correctly. So i got in contact with George Smooth, the Carbon Doctor, and he assisted me with getting in touch with Cleo from Chip logic (the Carbon Doc's KZN branch) Free plugs to Cleo, what an amazing person to have work on your pride and joy. Cleo does all the work himself, and he is very willing and allowing you to see the process, explain it all to you and to answer any questions you might have.
So this is what we saw as we opened her up. Please note this was done at 49K on the clock!

Now for those of you who havent done this and are planning on, i must warn you, its a lengthy process.
So after spending several hours hanging around Chip logic's workshops and main office, getting to know just about everybody there. Cleo came and called me, and this is what i got to see.

And then all the fun goodies started to arrive...
First, thanks to Rolf and the Promotec crew. Excellent service and excellent products.
I ordered the WT FMIC evo1 from Rolf, what a beautiful piece of equipment.
I was very tempted to keep it off the car, and rather just leave it here in my office as a show piece!

A few comparitive pics, between stock vs Evo1.

Getting it fitted to the car!

With the new FMIC and bumper installed, you cant even see that its been changed. Very stealth, and with the EVO1 there was no trimming required at all!

Next up is a big thank you to Burgy at Project shift.
I ordered the aluminium charge pipe and forge DV'S from him.
You can see how i had them laying around!

Look how nice the Forge DV's are!

A comparison between stock and upgrade.

Well done and well worth the effort.:bravo:
Your car will love the clean valves and WT Evo1.
Since George did mine I am consistently averaging 8,0 - 8,2 l/100km on my daily run to the office & back home, about 80 Km/day freeway and 20km town. :=): with some spirited driving in-between!

Then the wonderful goodies from BMS arrived!
First to go in was the DCI.
You can also see the two Forge DV's hidden under the cones.

Unfortunately with all the mods done, i havent seen good consumption. But im sure if werent for the good Doc, my consumption would be a whole lot worse!

So with the valves cleaned up, and better, cooler air flow coming through to them. I decided to allow it to also release the exhaust gasses more effectively.
So here comes the BMS downpipes. I must say, the build quality on these downpipes are exceptional. Such clean welds, and the fitment in such a tight space, the tolerance so amazing. Definitely money well spent!

Here she up on the lift.

This is what the old DP's looked like on the car.

Getting the new bung welded in, to suit our RHD cars.

Here they are fitted and waiting to make a whole lot of noise!

Lovely. Can't wait to start going ballistic on mine :)
I must just warn you, its not cheap!

So with all the hardware now on the car, it was time to make them all work!
So here comes our well known friend, JB4!

Getting it fitted!

I decided to change the plugs while we were busy.

Here she is put back together.

So next up for the performance is the meth kit. This is the 1.5gallon trunk mount! We're still bust with getting this up and running. Everything is installed!

This is the pump and tank.

The pump.

The soleniod.

Everything that comes in the kit.

The install.

Install finished.

Oh yes, i also did the LED upgrade.

Theres also 2 mods i havent got any pics of. Its the Clutch stop and clutch delay valve upgrade. Also im busy waiting for delivery of my PCV valve.

Then once i get my car back, theres 1 more performance mod to do for now.

This will allow me to run high concentrations of ethanol and very high octane fuels, as well as pulling all the mods in together.

Its now that i would like to say my last thank you.
Thank you to Dean///. Thank you for assisting me with some of the hardware install, helping me out with the meth install and getting it all dialed in.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar!
