My 06' Audi A3 2.0T *TAKING CARE*

Always loved the 8P ...I like how you could clearly distinguish the 3 door and the 5 door without having to squint at the tail lights.It was as if they were 2 different models.

Bought my 8V 1.8T SE 3 Door brand new only to find out a few months later that the sportback is going to look exactly the same:hammerhead: ... Sold it 9 months later and bought the Z4 M.:rollsmile:

Will have my Oil Filter Housing changed as the one now seems broken, tightened to much.

At the same time an Oil change will be done.

Quickly fitted the new PCV, nothing wrong with the old one. Just wanted to know that the new one is in.



Also intake has been fitted

Took my car to Vagspeccentre in randburg where Frans did a checkup on my car and asked me "how clean do you want your car, its very clean" :hurray:

All he said that needs attention is the tappet cover gasket as its leaking a bit of oil at the back and then some subframe bushes, that was all done with a Carbon clean that was also done, pictures does all the talking.

All done, nice and neat again.

So my bonnet didn't want to close at some times.



Loosened the 3 screws and moved the unit up. So now it closes as it should :hurray:

Will also need someone to help me with VCDS so that I can get the radio in BOSE "mode"

Had a slight problem the other day, but Frans at VagSpecCentre came to the rescue where he came and fetched my car at the house, as I didn't want to drive it (didn't know what was wrong)

Dogbone mount broke, caused the Vbelt to go through my aircon pipe...







Got the car back, all was good.

New VBelt and fixed Aircan pipe...





Also seems to be a new bush in

When i washed the car i saw the one tail light was a bit loose.
Went past Audi to get these little rubbers so that the light will sit tight, seems over time they get brittle and brake...







All cleaned up...
