ok, so i was a bit of a dumb ass when i bought my car.. didnt check if it came with business or professional. actually i didnt know the difference to begin with
i thort i could live without an mp3 player, but honestly im seriously missing it!!! is there anything i can do besides the aux jack to get my car playing mp3's again?

Buy a professional radio and get the code and install it,i saw a HU going for about R2500 on gum about a month back, and some other website when i googles professional. soory i aint too much of help lol

guys, in my bro--in-law's E46 318i, i used to copy the songs for him onto a disc as a data disc, not audio or mp3 and ti stored about 180 songs, try that?

+1, Had the same problem in my Navara with the 6 stack cd system. Burned CD's as 'data' not audio and presto! Havent tried it on a BMW thou... because mine plays MP3's.

When u burn a data disc, it basically is mp3 isn't it? Well depends on the song format obviously.
@Shadowmonkey there were E46's built after Sep 04 that came with the HU that supported mp3's. It looks identical, just supported another format. Check scrappies and spares guys. I think Gizmo had one, not sure.
