MP Extention

So my MP is ending in July..BMW gave me a quote of R14 000 to extend for another year...My car has 48 000km now, had an oil change about 5000km ago (I get the oil changed around 10000km)and will need a service in about 5000km according to the schedule plan on the OBD.

Now the car will be serviced before the MP ends and will probably not have a service for the 12months thereafter as I will not cover that many kms so in effect I will be paying 14k for practically nothing...

The car goes and has always been flawless...as far as I know no major components have been replaced during services except for normal items like brakes, disks, filters ect... The car has been stock until 03 Jan this year, when I put in the DCI's so do you guys think I should extend or continue without...I plan on keeping the car to mod further but not sure about reliability thereafter...I have not had any issues like most guys say so I really don't know...:flyfun:

if you have not had issues, you are probably due for some. extend MP

if you plan on selling the car at some stage in the near future. extend MP

if you dont know of any good BMW mechanics to look after your car. extend MP

if you want to mod it beyond just software. dont extend MP

I just extended mine... different car (z4m) no mileage - R16300...

Definitely worth it for me as the discs and pads alone will exceed that amount.

That is exactly the answers I was looking for Josh:thumbs:...points 1,2,3 is practical and what I was thinking:idea:...but then 4 hits the nail on the head, I want to go beyond software to feel that hit of power maybe take on some crazy hp cars and show what a 335 can do but then my brain goes back to 1,2,3...:flyfun:...

Something else to think about as these cars are heavy on the brakes..:thumbs:
