Howsit guys

Need some advice please

My motorplan on my E92 335i will be expiring in June this year.

What can you recommend changing before the plan comes to an end and which dealership should i go to

Your advise would be appreciated

Thanks

I dont think you can waltz in asking for things to be changed.
If you have a failing part then have that changed...anything thats in working order currently but known to fail will not be changed as its working at the time you took the car in.

I agree with M135i that they won't change stuff just because you asked for it to be changed. Motorplan would likely go bankrupt if they did:roflol:
However, if you have a good relationship with a dealer you have used for some time for maintenance, it is possible to persuade them to do some things at the last MP service and they'd likely say yes if not too expensive.
You could also visit a reputable place like Tiger Wheel or HQ and ask them to do a thorough suspension inspection of bushes, control arms, shocks, springs steering components etc and if there is anything on its way out there, they can give you a report to take to BMW and you can use that to insist they change those components. I've done that before and succeeded.
You can also plead for a water pump and expansion tank change cos they're likely to go bust and if you're persuasive enough and make a compelling argument, they're likely to say yes, but if they refuse, there's not much you can do.
However, standard maintenance items that are done on schedule, they won;t change if the time or mileage has not been reached according to the schedule guide.
Good luck:thumbs:

Good call on tiger wheel. Also check if the rims are not buckled. A buddy of mine had 1 buckled rim and BMW refused to replace his shocks as the buckled rim didn't 'allow' them to do a proper check. His car was on 98k km and he had to use HiQ to fit new shocks a few weeks later.
