I agree with M135i that they won't change stuff just because you asked for it to be changed. Motorplan would likely go bankrupt if they did:roflol:
However, if you have a good relationship with a dealer you have used for some time for maintenance, it is possible to persuade them to do some things at the last MP service and they'd likely say yes if not too expensive.
You could also visit a reputable place like Tiger Wheel or HQ and ask them to do a thorough suspension inspection of bushes, control arms, shocks, springs steering components etc and if there is anything on its way out there, they can give you a report to take to BMW and you can use that to insist they change those components. I've done that before and succeeded.
You can also plead for a water pump and expansion tank change cos they're likely to go bust and if you're persuasive enough and make a compelling argument, they're likely to say yes, but if they refuse, there's not much you can do.
However, standard maintenance items that are done on schedule, they won;t change if the time or mileage has not been reached according to the schedule guide.
