Picking up the Alpine White on WednesdayThis would look decent with an exact colour match. Get cooking, king!
It's easy, leave the one side black and the other white; you cannot see both sides at the same time...problem solved!Picking up the Alpine White on WednesdayThe photos are also not doing it justice tbh, in the flesh it looks even better. I also only did one side, helps me decide on what looks better. Wifey and some friends like the black more with all the black trims, other friends in the car scene and my kid loves the white and says it's a no-brainer lol so I'm a little torn between them. I personally have a soft spot for white on white and I think the white actually compliments the wheels.
You're not the first one to recommend that lolIt's easy, leave the one side black and the other white; you cannot see both sides at the same time...problem solved!![]()
I have a soft spot for these 330Ci LCI...I had one many years ago. Brilliant carSO: I had a visitor.
Enjoying having a black 6MT convertible... albeit temporarily. The old girl is cleaning up fairly well.

Also some 4C Gerotek action. Merc invites Daytona every year and it is one of the calendar highlights. Not every day you get to take your car around the high speed oval. The vids are much less dramatic than it is inside.
For the drags I managed to fend off both electric-assisted newcomers as well as some cars with over double the number of cylinders![]()

We just got a 2020 BMW 118i with 66,000 km on the clock! Our E90 will be used less frequently now. The 118i still has an active motor plan until October next year. Any recommendations for preventative maintenance, or anything specific we should address while it's still under the motor plan?
The one BMW dealership messed up the door inner panel on the left front passenger side. So going to our one here in Cape Town to resolve it. Current oil service from factory is 20.000km.
Is there an actual maintenance plan with the aftermarket one? I thought it is just warranty and you need to purchase the BMW service plan along side it?BMW will no longer address anything that isn't already broken or doesn't have a recall. The days of going in with requests and having them easily covered are over. You can get them to look at specific areas and complain a few times but that's about it. As with all cars under plan, you can opt to pay for an in-between oil service cash to avoid long service interval issues assuming you're keeping the car for a long period of time.
If it has the B38 engine you won't have anything to worry about. 3 Cylinders tend to have quite a lot of character too.
One of your future decisions would be whether you want to extend the motorplan with a BMW motorplan in which case you will get 2 years of cover but then your aftermarket warranty will never be worth it as you won't be able to have full cover. Your other option is to get the aftermarket plan before your initial 5 year plan expires in which case you will get an actual maintenance plan, albeit with the headache of dealing with a third party.
