Got the car back today after having some work done, and I’m super happy with the outcome.

Installed the following:

Carbon Side Skirts
Carbon Mirrors Covers
Carbon Side Vent Covers
AUTOID Carbon Rear Wing
H&R Sports Front Lowering Springs
Bimecc 15mm Spacers Front and Rear
Alcantara Steering Wheel cover from Mode Auto Concepts

Little update, a simple but non intrusive MagSafe car charger solution….A suction cup with a MagSafe charger attached. I ran the cable under the center console into the armrest USB-C port. I’ll be changing the white cable to a black one soon for a more stealth look.

Suction has never come loose despite multiple launches.

Question... Why not use the built in wireless charger?

Question... Why not use the built in wireless charger?

2 reasons:

The wireless charger pad is there but BMW discontinued the wireless charger on these cars so it’s just a dummy pad.

Also I use my draggy app and mhd app quite often so it’s easier if the phone is upright and visible.

Third reason:
Even if you had the wireless pad, it does not work well. All it does is make your phone get very hot for a few %’s of battery life (based on my experience with G20 M340i)
