Most awkwardly specced car of 2019 - F30 330i manual

Came across this gem.

An almost new F30 330i manual in bog standard spec. Halogen lights, 17 inch wheels. But, sunroof seems to be thrown in. But the strangest thing is the M logo on the manual shifter, on a non M Sport car.

I figure this car will probably go for R400k, at a push.

Highly doubt anyone would pay over R400k for this.

Granted, it is still a great price for the performance.
But that spec choice is horrendous.

When "front passenger airbag deactivation" is listed as a feature for a sale, you know they ran out of things to list.

I made a post about converting my 320D to Msport and I’ve come to realize it’s not worth it. But that back diffuser and the black kidneys make that car quite nice.

Not sure if it’s worth the price but it’s quite beautiful for a car that isn’t Msport.

This is similar to those 340is that were for sale late last year with the 17 inch rims at a good price.

Looks like aftermarket gear knob,
Also the side mirrors and kidney grills are black as well, possibly aftermarket also

I think these were supposed to have been Service cars , Maybe government service cars eg police? or Security? or cars built to be converted for some other purpose , Paramedic or fire maybe? Maybe the deal fell through or they decided on taking up new 3s and decided to sell them off unconverted at a reduced cost?

Spoke to a guy at Supertech and he said that they had done the Standard BMW Bike to Durban Metro BMW Police Bike conversion so maybe these cars were something like that?
