I know how it feels buddy. Do you know how the guy on the bike is doing?

Hopefully there isn't any structure damage and you can just replace the fender and bonnet?

sux big time :sorry:

glad everyone came out of it relatively unscathed.

Pity the insurance didnt arrange a flat bed for you, looks like the tow truck is doing as much damage as the motorbike did:cry:

Wow, the tow truck driver is doing more damage than the bike did!! At least you were hit by something classy!

Guy on bike had some cuts on his legs (he had shorts on) he was in pain as would be expected after flying over handlebars & my bonnet.. But I dont think anything too serious.. they took him to hospital just incase.. have not heard anything since..

Yeah those toe trucks do damage the bumpers, but if its damaged it must be replaced..

Sorry about bad news .Why was your car not put on a flatbed ? Who will pay for that damage ? Some work for dent Doctor Boksburg

Firstly sorry to hear about the accident man. Secondly, hope the biker is doing well. Thirdly, did you allow the tow truck to damage your bumper in the process? I always request that a flat bed be sent out, these pr!cks once wrecked my E36 bumper/radiator on a slingback and the insurance did not want to pay for their damage.

Glad your OK dude.

Damage really looks minimal.

Fender, Bumper, LHS suspension bits.

I will still be able to squeeze this job in this year. I recon that is less then a weeks repair, as most of the parts will just be new replacement.

As much as I feel sorry for the biker, the fu(ken idiot should not wear shorts and ride :thumbdo:

Anyway, hope the damage on the car is not too bad.

Damage from what I could see...

Right fender
Bonnet
Front bumper - from tow truck
Control arm broken, so replace all those...Might be more suspension related damage as well as the Wheel took the direct hit from the bikes tire
Mag might have gotten bent

Nasty start to your week Andrew! Hopefully everyone is fine. From the pics, looks like the right front suspension took a pounding - hope it's easily fixed though! Yep, tow truck is doing more damage - makes me cringe when I see that!

:sorry: to see that buddy, never a nice thing at all.

I almost got my family in an accident as well yesterday, I was driving down the road and saw an accident on the side of the road where an E30 drove into the back of the police bakkie, whilst driving, thinking and hoping the guy was not drunk I just saw 2 cars driving across in front of me and only then I realised that the robot was actually red for me "which I initially did not even see the robot". Thank goodness to those cars as I was absent minded and I'm still wondering what happened.

Probably the Bike guy went through a similar episode. I hope all get's sorted soon.

Glad your okay, the car can always be fixed, the guy is an idiot to be wearing shorts but then agin, very few bikers actually were the right stuff and ride the correct way. Now your car is damaged cause of his stupidity!

Well glad nobody was hurt!
Agreed on requesting a flat bed... inflicting even more damage? (Thats not on!)

Riding a motorbike in shorts? :bravo:
