Mini Cooper S - Aftermarket suspension

I'm looking for a good coilover set for my Mini Cooper S JCW, R56. Any suggestions? Anyone fitted any kits & reviews? Problem is beside achieving better handling is that the sound install in my trunk makes the gap at the front arches too big so I think adjustable is best.

Take out the sound. .. .

:fencelook:

How big is the sound that it makes the front gap to big? Is it because the rear gap is so small in comparison?

Maybe fit lowering springs in front?

Either way everything is a compromise because of the added weight in the back.

I can get you front springs separate from H&R if you want o go that route...

all the proper suspension kits were designed around the weight distribution from the factory so will be compromised...

if your main issue is lowering the front springs will do the job if the dampers are still fresh

Mr Axis this will help as long as u give me the spec's so that I can roughly see where it would sit. Also send some pricing via Pm or mail. Thanks will take a close up picture of the problem.

There's still a 360 processor and 10Farad RF cap hidden behind the amps and the box goes deep into the bottom of the boot. All other speakers inside are replaced aswell.

Nah it's a mini sound system. Not sure always had sound in this Mini previously 2 x 12, P3's car is still stock but pulls nice. Had a 2006 R53 Jcw aswell when dynoed at SAC Durban it made 147flykw I got that one up to 164fly kw. Was a little monster sitting at 240+ on the digital readout. Alta pulley, RmW cam, custom branch, Unichip, M7 scoop & filter. Nice machine I was once stopped by a V8M driver who said that he had to pass me at 250 clock speed at Mvoti Ultracity. Was a good feeling.
