Race car mode happens very seldom, like 5 minutes over the weekend when I'm alone in the car.

Well that makes sense i hate peak hour traffic. And so does your car clearly but that's what you get when you move at 23km/h. The time the car has to run to cover 23kms is the problem. And it proves that slow driving does not save fuel. And race car mode is best alone then you are risking less lives hehe.
