whats up guys, i currently have a 135i and alls been good miles with smiles.. however this year I'm studying in roodepoort and i live in sandton. It's quite a long drive but traffic is eating away at my petrol.
I don't really want to change the 35, however i may have to..

any advice on what to get? i was thinking maybe a Golf R cause when driving with ease can deliver good figures.. well better than my current haha

let me know what you guys think :smashScreen:

DONT DO IT!!!! You'll regret it man. I say keep the 135 and buy something smaller and much lighter like an Etios or vivo for running around (thats what i do) :roflol::roflol:

Although that might hurt your street cred at campus  (who gives a flying duck) you'll be smiling at the pumps when you fill up your 135i  LOL

Good luck

you guys want to tell me the 4 cyl R is almost the same as the 35?!?

Easily bud.. Ive owned both and the consumption was basically the same.

Not based on what the consuption figures shown on the computer but in terms of how often I would put in fuel. Both cars used about R100 a day doing exactly the same route to work.

Hence I bought a diesel daily and ive never been happier :ty:

WTF is this shit...

Get used to traffic its never going to go away. Enjoy your car, its power, stop being a little bitch ;)

Don't know if you would be happy with a Gti coming from a 135i. Will the saving in fuel make up for the difference in driving experience? Also Gti's can be found around every corner, a 135i is just that more special.

Perhaps see if you can have someone let you drive a Gti for a weekend, then decide.

Lol put it in eco pro and drive, it should change something. If you really want an eco car get a diesel if you still want performance, else vivos, and so forth should be your solution

Really really really first world problems. Leave earlier and miss traffic, stay late and work in the library and miss traffic. Your a student in a 135! My student car couldn't go much faster than traffic

When I saw the thread title "Might have to changer my baby, advice?"

I was like

If I was a student and owned a 135i, fuel would have been least of my worries, more like finding time to accommodate all the chicks.

Haha more especially in a ///M135i, I'd be just as worried.
