whats up guys, i currently have a 135i and alls been good miles with smiles.. however this year I'm studying in roodepoort and i live in sandton. It's quite a long drive but traffic is eating away at my petrol.
I don't really want to change the 35, however i may have to..

any advice on what to get? i was thinking maybe a Golf R cause when driving with ease can deliver good figures.. well better than my current haha

let me know what you guys think :smashScreen:

You do not replace a BMW 135i with a Golf R to save on fuel costs

If travel costs are a problem, buy a diesel.

Upgrade to F20 M135 in Auto.

My consumption sits between 8.5 to 9.5 l/100kms on a weekly average. I travel 110kms per day to the office.

Dont trade the 135i for a R, I've had the R and its a guzzler of note.

Maybe look around for a demo 330d or 320d depending on budget.
If you can find a F30 330d in budget you'll never look back :praise:

All I read was: "I am studying and drive a 135i"

Since when do students drive 135i's?

Maybe he is 50 and completing his studies but already made his cash in his early years?

When I saw the thread title "Might have to changer my baby, advice?"

I was like

If I was a student and owned a 135i, fuel would have been least of my worries, more like finding time to accommodate all the chicks.

you guys want to tell me the 4 cyl R is almost the same as the 35?!?

Yes. When I replaced my 8P Audi S3 with a E82 135i fuel consumption between the two was identical around town (13l-14l/100km) and on long trips (8l-9l/100km)
