Hi Guys,
This is non BMW related but I thought I would share this.
My wife drives a 2003 MB C270CDI with 180 000km that was handed down to her by my mom. This car has never given us a days hassle except for the usual wear and tear items. We've had this car in our family since 2009 with 90 000km on the clock. Its a car I don't drive often as I battle with 'heavy foot syndrome' when I do drive it.
I drove the it this week and found it 'sluggish' nothing that was very noticeable but I knew it wasn't pulling very well.
I've always been reading about removing the cats on the forum and decided to do this and see what happens.
God and behold this car has had a instantly turned over a new leaf so much so that I am using it for a couple of days now:tiptoe:
Plant it hard off the line and the ESP lights flickers:roflol: The best part is the consumption down from 8-9liter per 100 to 6.5 - 7.5 litres per 100 and that local driving, start and stop.
I can now see that i'll be changing rear tyres again very soon.
All in all its worth it:ty:
Cheers
