Merc C55 content

AMG cars are nice...especially that 55 engine....if I were to get a merc, it would be a SLK55 or C63

Small update: Been driving the 55 these last few days, needed to sort some things that were bothering me.

Got some stuff for an excellent price from a friend that used to own a black C55.

-A pirrelli rear tyre (80% tread, extra from the black car)
-A foglight
-Some front trim bits (grille etc..) as this car has some stone chips in the chrome as well.
-And some other random stuff

Had the car at TwT cresta yesterday to put the tyre on, the one that came off was done.

Checked the disks/pads all round - they're almost new, so the fault on the dash is sensor related.

Best part, they did fitment and balancing of the wheel and then proceeded to charge me nothing at all.

Will definitely be buying tyres there in the future, they know exactly was excellent customer service is:thumbs:








Started making notes on all the things i want to sort out, need to clean and treat these seats properly, they a little smell off :yuck:




And i think a phone call to the Dent Doctor is going to happen in the future, this dent works on my nerves and the front bumper also needs some attention





I replaced the left fog light, the one that came off had no glass left, now to just find another one (no pics - too lazy to go outside now :sorry

Oh yes, the previous owner de-catted it and changed the pipes, thats why it sounds so good.

Will take a video later, but then i need instructions on how to post it here :rollsmile:

@Upncoming: Car has 185k on the clock, was serviced under motorplan until 120k, then with an independent guy until 175k.

@Kobus: She runs really nice, had her out on the highway last night, over the last 1000km's she averaged 13.2l per 100km.

Is that normal consumption? (I don't have a heavy foot really)

That's not bad consumption, my 350z is averaging 12-12.5L/100km over the last 2 tanks. Incl highway and very spirited driving.
