Did u fall out when the vehicle overturned? How fast were you travelling when it became out of control? Which tyre became defective?

I specialize in forensic investigations of motor vehicle collisions and on large scale investigation of unroadworthy tyres and their relevancy to causing of collisions.

Tyres do not just burst. Tyres can suffer layer separation due to mainly overheating. Overheating can be caused by any one or a combination of the following: excessive speed, under inflation, overloading. I can determine whether a tyre suffered run-flat damage and whether it was caused over a short or prolonged time space.

If you can let someone photograph the culprit tyre from the site, the whole of the tread surface and the inner of the tyre, I will investigate it free of charge for you. If the tyre can be sent to me, even better.

Thanks man, it was my old 325is that i was driving..... far as i know the tyres were still good .... left front wheel burst.... was drving just over 200km.. i know it was a bit too fast! im was coming back from kimberly on the old road. Car is being towed back this week and i will take it from there....
