What about Saturday the 13th, that way we are save with the better halves for the 14th and it is not interfering with the BMW Car Club Breakfast run on the 7th. Spur does sound nice and the parking lot is long enough to line the cars and people for the photos.
Sat the 13 sounds good, we can still start off early and the guys who work on a Saturday can join later.
Trying to upload my pics on photobucket but the damn server is so slow today. :cursin:
Kobus, looks like you have a nice spot there, why not some1's house and we can all help clean-up afterwards. Much better to socialise like that and actually get to know people :mmm:

21st I'm unfortunatley flying back from Eastern Cape the afternoon, so that is out. 13th is also good for me. We can do the braai at someone's house, all depending on how many people rock up. My place unfortunatley is big enough for 2 people. 
A large open area loke a parking lot does makake it simpler, especialy for foto's. I'm importing a photographer all the way from Jhb for the day so that we have professional photo's :excited:. We must just start to decide what we want to do for the first meet and greet so tha we can start making arangements.
I opt for the SPUR meet at the Centurion Life Style Center on either the 13 th fro early to late, or afternoon till late.
Sugestions.

Kobus I am with you for the 13th at spur sounds good to me for anytime.If we get a booking for a jumping castle that day I will work it in around the meet and greet or just blocked everything for that day.

Yes the 13th doesn't sound to bad for me either. So we all agree that the 13th suites everybody fine?

Hey guys, the 13th and Spur sounds great, Lifestyle Centre Spur is a great venue for kids as well.
If you guys prefer a braai instead, why not go to the "Rooihuiskraal Feesterrein" in Centurion. The lapa will probably be booked already, but for the normal braai areas etc. its first come first serve.
Has anybody been to the "Feesterrein" before. There are lots of animals as well for kids etc.
The place is in Rooihuiskraal Road, coming from Reds mall just before you go over the N14 highway on your left, before you get the garden reffuse depot and the power substation on your right.
I'll post some pics of a previous party we attended there if you guys prefer.

:thinker: Now that is an idea. Let's meet at the parking lot in the Centurion Lifestyle Center, shake hands and take some photos. Then convoy to the Rooihuiskraal Feesterein for a braai.
cfrog - Will you be able to find out if the lapa is available or not and what the costs are ? Is there an enterence fee ? If you guys want, the offer stands that me wife can make a salad(potatoe) and everybody just brings his own dop and tjop. Will work out cheaper than SPUR and is a lot more sociable I think.

I just went in at the grounds to have alook around. It costs R20 per person and kids between 0-6 years cost R5. There are some places to braai, but I would rather see about one of the lapas. Will phone on Monday to find out what it costs. Will let you know.

Sory for bing so quiet. I went to the Rooihuiskraal Festive Grounds and had a look. Although very nice with all the animals and so on, it is going to be a bit difficult. They have two braai areas. The one is the main park, and it is spread aaprt and is only a small braai. The second braai area has a couple of braais along side each other, but the gravel raod is realy bad.
I don't wanna change to much, but I suggest that we still meetup on Saturday 13 February 2010 from say 13:00 at the Centurion Lifestyle Center, and then do the Spur thing. If everybody is in agreement, we need to know defninate numbers so to make a booking at the Spur.
Please let me know by latest Friday 12:00 afternoon so that I can make a booking for us.
