Meet and greet

Hi Guys and Gals

I would like to orginize a meet and greet for all the Fanatics members in the Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, Eersterus area :wave:. Basically, in and around Pretoria. It is becomming more and more prominent that there are a lot of the Fanatics members that are in this region, but we only get to meet each other with get togethers elsewhere :hammerhead:.

I just met a new member to the forum, Alpina, that stays a stones throw away from me. What do you guys think ? The Jhb contingent is well represented, and I think it is time we do as well.

With all the new members signing on daily, we need to get out and meet each other.

I am glad to see that there is interrest :excited:. Let's see how many people come out the wood work, and then we orginize something. I was thinking of early February 2010. Suggestions for a spot are welcome. Keep in mind, parking, easy access, photo opertunities etc.

I'm in Rooihuiskraal by the way, spitting distance from Mall@Reds and so is 444YYY. Sp4nn3r is also verry close as is Alpina.

You can also go to Centurion Lifestyle Centre. The Spur would be a nice venue with nice outside seating and lots of parking. I would not recommend mall @ reds, because last year in September my BMW got stolen there. Its suspected that the car watch is in on the deals with the sindicates. Luckely tracker recovered my BMW an hour later in Soweto. I'm working on the first weekend of February, but might be able to take off some hours.

Hey All

A suggestion rom my side:

How about a bring a braai on a Sunday, maybe 7 or 14 Feb. Depending on how many people, if all are willing to make a small comtribution, my wife can make salads and shit, and everybody just bring their own dop and chop. The Centurion Lifestyle Center also sounds very good as there is a lot of parking, especially if we get there early and pic a nice space.

Lets start of with a list of who want's to attend and work from there. Just copy the list in your reply with your name. You are all more than welcome to bring the wife/girlfriend/skelmpie. This makes it easier to plan.

@444YYY - No, we are not going to braai in the parking lot, I was just suggesting a bring and braai, but meeting somewhere else. Sounds like the guys are keen on the Life Style Center and a sugegstion was made for SPUR. You better be there with that fine machine of yours or else :bat:.

@Alpina - We don't need the management of the center's approval to park there, as long as we behave and don't do doughnuts and stuff. I will go past there this afternoon to have a look at a lekker spot.

Now is the question of the time. Morning or afternoon. What you say ? I will find out if SPUR breakfasts, but I need to know the exact number of people so that I can do a booking at the SPUR, if that is where everybody wants to eat ?

Guys what about the 21st Feb which is on a a Saturday, seen that there are suggetions of a dop and tjop?.Nd y not make it in the afternoon say after 2. So that those who are working on Saturday's can also join us.If we are in an agreement on the 7th Feb, than no problem.
