M40, accident, the car hit some rocks on the way leaving the road, which took the sump guard off and broke the sump. I have an idea in my mind how to fix it if I don't find one. Will do a write-up with pics when I decide to go that route. Of course it will not be that pretty anymore but it will be a case of "function over form"

Nothing here. Ps you should be able to weld it with cast iron rods not! If you're good at welding it'll seal too lol. Maybe just get a shop to weld the pieces together and skim the sealing surface.
