Max Boost

I have 7000k's left on my motorplan and will look at getting the JB4 after it expires. My question is what is the max boost that a stock 135 (N54) puts out?

I know the JB4 map 5 is 17psi..

Any reason why you doing a plug in system as oppose to a full remap from a tuner as your carwill be out of motorplan anyway ????

Been hearing so many good things about JB4 so I thought I would give it a try..

Also, I would like the option of switching maps etc. Don't want to stay with a fixed map and also thinking about wear and tear on the Turbos and pipes...

Map 3 Methanol map you can with the right bolt ons, 15ohm board and water methanol get it to18psi-19psi but you will need charge pipe, down pipes and cooler as the stock plumbing does not handle that boost well at all.

Map 6 Custom tuning map you can set it as high as the variables(type of fuel and IAT's) allow you to but once again you will need all the bolt ons and the only way to boost high is if you running meth again. So map 3 would be the highest for stock turbos highest boost on JB4.
