Ok Plastidip done. Had to go over a few areas as I missed them in the bad light last night. Those of you not sure about how the 403M's would look in black, I hope this gives you a better idea.

Thanks for all the comments on my thread. For now, I am done except for the side decals and sills which I am waiting on stock.

I was wondering how the rims would look in black and I think I'm gonna do mine soon!

Congrats on an awesome car.

Car looks great.

The F30 330d in stock form is a beast. The MPerformance version is even crazier.

I went to the Stealth Tuning Dyno night in Durbs a few weeks ago. There was a F30 330d Mperformance that made 205wkw +-600nm torque. which is a crazy amount of power for a car with a motor plan... :)

Thanks. The 330d accelerates like a car with an electric motor. No laughing now :roflol:

The power is effortless. You put your foot down and it surges forward relentlessly. Coming from a 135i DCT I now realise why I had problems when I encountered these 330d's on the road.

Did you add the glossifier to the mirrors to get that shine or Is it matte black??

If you want a glossier finish with Plastidip, I have found that you should deviate from the instructions.

Make the first coat a wet coat. Hold the can closer to the target and use the 50% overlap method.

This differs from the usual instructions where they say put a light coat as the base. This will lead to a matte finish, whereas if you make the first coat a wet one, it leads to a glossier finish.

Or just buy Foliatec which is gloss dip straight out the can! But i dont have gloss black in stock, only in the new year again

Sorry car looks damn hot man!!!!
