After seeing tons of mag wheel repairs on the net, I've decided to refurb the set of 18s that I got, before I put them on the car.
However, my biggest problem was that some of the stuff mentioned was not available locally. Can someone please assist with a mag wheel DIY, but recommend local products.
For example, what is the best spraypaint to use that is closest to the BMW OEM colour and where (in Gauteng) is it available. Also, do I use normal putty or the steel putty, etc. What's the best clearcoat to use?
I refurbed a set of Honda wheels a few years ago, and I recall going to Autostyle and looking at 10 different variations of the closest matching silver  Anyway, since it was oldish 14" mags, I went with what I thought was best and did all 4. However, I want to get it 100% right this time around with the BMW OEM 18s I have.
