It's wheel power - Ambient Power on the Y-axis....Mcaevans said:Data seems rationalized to flywheel calculations.

Yup mine to, Xcede ftw. Reliable power for 80k kms now and 2 years. Although I'm making 214wkw and 620nm.S1NGH 911 said:Mine does it too, after I switched to XcedeRayzor said:Thats incredible power, that graf holds power nicely all the way to 4k rpm :cartel: I have only seen one other diesel that does this :fencelook:![]()
At the end of the day the numbers on the graph are meaning less. There's no before run to compare so who knows the accuracy of this dyno. It could on stock form be "making" 200wkw on this dyno.Mcaevans said:Data seems rationalized to flywheel calculations.

Quick question was this dyno'ed at KAR?
KAR is a pretty accurate dyno... at least when i did my before and after runs it was.

I think my car was dynod at tyre mart. Sherwin and Alistair organised everything so I didn't have to come up to joburg.S1NGH 911 said:Sleepa said:Well Done!

KAR does have some bad days, last month I drove to KAR for a power run, and my car made 241wkw & 722nm. I then drove straight to Tyre Mart in Sunninghill where I wait for an hour before the run, and the car made 219wkw & 702nm....The same car made 230wkw & 689nm at Dynosport in Randburg....

Not on a turbo car surely?S1NGH 911 said:DieselFan said:Altitude in joburgS1NGH 911 said:Was that at Altitude or Coast @DieselFan ?

So you looking at 15% more power at the coast
Both Tyre Mart & Dynosport are more stingy than KAR
Sadly yes, air up here is terrible...DieselFan said:Not on a turbo car surely?S1NGH 911 said:DieselFan said:Altitude in joburgS1NGH 911 said:Was that at Altitude or Coast @DieselFan ?

What have you done to diesel pump to increase flow volume

Yes Kar dyno]
But now this is the problem. Already that stock run is 20% more than claimed stock and there is nothing to reference the other dyno used. So it's pointless. One needs to use the same dyno and compare %increase not hunt numbers. I'm not saying the car is slow or anything just pointing out the fact that these figures mean almost nothing. You're going to have some guy reading this thinking why he only got 220kw with the same mods and it must be the tuner able to somehow get another 40wkw out of a car.Tobofey said:DieselFan said:Would have been interesting to see the stock run on this dyno

Stock run was done at SR speedworx and was 176kw.

Not to say this car isn't quick. I'm sure it is. But going by the numbers the car made a 70% gain over stock. With minimal mods. Mmmhmmmmmm

Anyway I'm sure the car is hauling ass regardless. These 330ds move.
