hi all
wanna do egr delete, best way? where parts? how much? ;)

i removed my egr valve and gave it a proper clean some time ago... but
yeah what would be the proper egr delete method?

i believe the egr must be taken out of the map aswell?

Buy an egr delete kit from ebay. Or just blank the line. Everyone blanks the line with no issues cost effective and quick :coolShake:

No parts other than something to block the vacuum pipe on both ends with. EGR stays where it is.

It's somewhere in my thread :fencelook:

Best way is either buy one already fabricated or have one fabricated. That way there's no valve in the middle. If this gains anything who knows. But I'd say its the best way as common sense tells me having a valve in the middle of a pipe effects air flow.

Other wise just block the vacuum pipes.

vacuum pipe on both ends? but then inbetween you have simply a pipe?

surely i just block the end of the pipe that attaches to the actuator for the egr, that round looking thing on the side of the egr. the end of this pipe i would imagine attaches to the vacuum dist unit

The pipe attaches to the EGR and to the vacuum manifold. It is very important to block it off at the manifold otherwise you'll have a vacuum leak and grannies in their Tazz's will be pulling away from you.
