M57 catalytic converter "DPF" delete

I've had my 30d for a little over a year now and I've enjoyed every drive. Obviously there's been an itch to start modding it for more power, so this weekend I finally managed to scratch it.

Note: my car is a 2006 Pre LCI E90 330d.
There is only 1 sensor (supposedly EGT) pre cat, so no software or trickery is required as no lights come on the instrument cluster.

Here is the stock hardware.

Here is the new one.

The remaining exhaust is stock for now. I will go for a straight 76mm in the coming months as the DP on its own is very subtle in tone.

Where did you get the new down pipe or did you make it yourself?
Like KnightLion said, BYM fabrication in Pomona.
They are not a fourm vendor but are my go-to pipe fab guys.

What software thereafter to override the DPF removal/delete?
Nothing needed. It is not a true DPF as there are no additional pipes or sensors other than the one pre cat.
