M50B25 vs M70b50

Hi guys I've been considering a m70b50 swap, the power difference is way more but my question is the fuel consumption, according to the internet the M50 gives 20l/100km and the same is true for the M70 is it through then that the fuel economy is the similar?

lol into what car? I get about 20L/100 with my M52, but there is definitely something wrong with the car...However, if you have the time/money/skills, we would love to see you do a V12 conversion

Assuming this is going into an e34 or e36, if economy is of concern a big heavy v12 is not the way to go.. it will be a cool swap though
