M5 rear ended

Eish! I am sad. My M5 just got rear ended in Centurion. Wife is fine car is not. I was reading Animosities thread of him getting hit from the rear and heard how often it happens. Now some dude decided to use the car in front to stop right outside the mall on the slip lane entering. What a shlep.:bawling:

From what I have been told the rear hood has bent, light gone including the metal behind it so the rear fender needs to get done. When it gets back will see how far the bumper pushed in but I am praying it did not reach the wheel. Exhaust seems to have made it so that didn't push forward at least.
Last week the car was vandalized and the rear door was scratched with a key so the car has taken a beating the past two weeks.

I was planning to sell it. Screw up is motorplan renewal is by next week Friday so got to make a plan.

Update got a pic of the truck skid marks. They where measured to 27 meters. :shocked: so he must have been moving in what was a 40 zone.

Oh no, just see this now! Sorry to hear - main thing of course it that your Wife is okay! From the tone of your posts you seem a lot calmer than I reckon I would be - I would be in full KILL mode!!!

Hope the damage isn't too bad, structural/mechanical etc. Body panels can be fixed or replaced...
