Need your help folks, i own an E36 stock with M43 1.6L with 240,000 KM on the odo, i just changed the cylinder gasket and the chamber sealings
i found a lot of good reviews on the Liqui Moly 10-40 semi synthetic after the fix in my local garage
after 5000 KM , oil started to disappear i wouldn't say evaporate cause i added around 700 ML of the same oil (LM 10-40)
went back to my local garage who told me the oil is not good (a snap of the oil from the meter seems not consistent in viscosity) and is suggesting to change to Castrol Magnatec
on every forum never read anything bad about LM , not sure about the reason to what happened in its viscosity
i live in egypt and weather is usually on the hot side (in winter the lowest it gets is 10 celsius, in summer it can reach 40C)
i drive mostly on open roads at around 2.5-3 RPM, so need your help to determine what oil to use
i have access to LM, Motul and Castrol magnatec or edge , am a bit worried of using full synthetic oils as the engine is pretty old
