M4 Finally arrived!

Finally after months of anticipation and what felt like an obsession with the Track my BMW Online... I collected my car last week Monday~ :rollsmile::rollsmile::rollsmile:

I initially put a deposit down in December last year and after being delayed a few times I shifted my order to Clearwater BMW....all I can say is their service and attention to customer detail is beyond exceptional...I have nothing but good things to say about them and would highly recommend the dealership!

About the car...after my initial test drive of the M3 back in July (I posted a review here), I was left a little underwhelmed. The car was fantastic and lived up to the hype but I think I expected more. The test drive was only 10 minutes long and I wasn't really able to open it up with the car having less than 100km on the clock. With my M4 I have been a little less restrictive and have been able to get a better impression of how capable this car really is. In two words... IT'S AMAZING.

No it is not the best car in the world, and no it is not a supercar...it has its faults (some of which are annoying)...it lacks the elegance of the upcoming C63, but as an everyday powerful coupe that gives you the best of both worlds, there are few cars on the road that will tick as many boxes as this one does. I'm super excited about the new C63 though and am looking forward to seeing if they have improved their gearbox....Before buying the M4 I had cross shopped other cars in a similar price range, and for various personal reasons decided against them.

I forgot to mention the mods so far....Car has been dropped on H&R M4 specific Sport Springs...first one in the country according to Koni....might be temporary until some coilovers are released, but it hasn't effected the ride quality and works well with the adaptive suspension. Spacers should be on in the next few days....after the drop, the wheels seem to be pushed in too far for my liking...JB4 is sitting in my garage at the moment too and have an Akra Catless DP on its way :rollsmile:

After all the mods are completed and run in service done I'll post a more comprehensive review about what I like and dislike thus far.

Damn thats one sweet ride and your going to mod it and making it even better!!! You rock and your car kicks ass! Really cool to see guys making their new toys even better with some mods. Looking forward to the reviews and congrats on such a great car.
