M3 Wipe out

Ayayayayay......the e92s traction control is an exceptional one.
I came around a roundabout once and gave it some beans with a turned steering wheel and it showed me whose boss...... BUT but traction control snapped it back into place quickly.

Just my opinion:
But drifting
Entering the roundabout at high speeds
Showing off
Showing off
Lousy tyre tread

Misbehaving in the rain ..... Naughty naughty

Sorry about the crash, imagine if there was a parent walking their infant in that pavement hey .

its only a circle dont really get why so many accidents?

If the ride height is that low it is most definitely Toooo low for handling but... we dont know what damage happened to the suspension when mounting the curb this could have caused it to look so low

It's just where it's situated and the roads leading up to it, big wide dual lane roads that you can easily do decent speeds on and suddenly find yourself taking a ride over the circle, Add to that there are a few watering holes nearby.

surely there is enough signage?

plenty street lighting there...

If you cant see a massive mound of grass in the road should you really be driving at all let alone as speed?

If it is drinking they need to put up more road blocks :argh:

Last year they came and fixed all the signs in the circle at all the entry points, this was done on a Wednesday and by Sunday night only one was still standing and I shit you not.

the 4th photo is some dome ass skidding into the circle while they are pulling the white corsa bakie out, the night before it was a red corsa bakie and the night after was the last photo.

rather scary that we share the roads with people who cant even negotiate a simple traffic circle...

do you know if the guy on the bike made it?

I find it so hard to believe people cannot see the circle... then again, we are viewing it from a raised position. Can you try, if you have the time Dax, to get us a viewpoint that a driver would see going towards this circle at night?

Just for interests sake.

This is a cropped shot of the chick who was driving the white corsa bakie, Note she was wasted she could hardly stand. Check the smile on the tow truck drivers face and the cops just stand and laugh.

I think the Tow truck driver was the one to score:fencelook:

Hmmm. I guess if you are really flying and it's dark, you'd think the road was straight... could easily catch you off guard if you don't know the road, or if you were drunk.

I actually think I drove past here in Jezebel when I was in Cape Town with her. There are a few of these right?

Thanks Dax.

Yes in this area 4 and another down in Blouberg. The funny thing is all the street lights were off and after him hitting the pole they came on. the circle is very off camber corner look at the photo with the two cars in you can see the lean angle.

When driving away from beachfront towards Big Bay that circle is just after the top of a blind left rise. If you are doing normal speeds you will see it in time. Also, aside from the M3, the majority of other cars wiping out there have no abs or esp.
Dax, did I get your location correct or are you at the second circle, before driving to Melkbos?
