Ash m I think I'm start to lead more towards your thinking. I can see myself having and keeping an m3 coupe for a while, but I really can't see me being happy with the 63. Hope I still feel like this in the morning.

I was there on holiday for a week, but I am moving to EL at the end of the month with a friend Jarred (Nathan is his uncle). We're opening a workshop now in march ...

just waiting for my adsl to come back on bro :/ .. sitting on 3G right now, will hopefully come right by the weekend. then I can get those videos up ..

But we must keep in touch man .. we can start a decent bmwfanatics group down there, between me and jarred we allready know of allot of decent okes with some nice bmw's down there ...

btw, at the end of the day I think the E92 m3 is still the best allround car... btw, speak to nathan, he wants to sell his for 730K I think, its a 2010 model..

Luv the M3 but, there is just something so nasty about having a "mercedes" that can haul some serious ass!
Not sure if you seen the Topgear shootout between the M3, RS4 and C63. We will leave the RS4 out of this, if you looking for a track machine with awesome handling then it is the M3 - provided you have the abilities to extract that level of performance from the car. In a straight line the C63 was the quickest quite convincingly and I supose afforded the most practicality if that is a consideration.

Perhaps go and drive both and see which one grabs your attention.

I beg to differ. Engine capacity is the reference here. A 6.3 liter verses 4 liter Audi and Bmw is hardly a fair comparison for performance and that was one of the comparative criteria. I don't like Clarkson, he is too full of himself, a womanizer, don't like BMW and is an idiot who has turned car reviews into a circus.

Have you actually seen the full episode of the C63, M3 and RS4 shootout? At the end after the film back in the studio JC said that two of them changed their minds and that they had decided that the M3 is the best, reason: The other two are just copies of what BMW did originally.

I did, but my conclusion of JC comes from watching many episodes where he openly shows his dislike in BMW. What he said there was for the benefit of BMW and AUDI, not his own real opinion.

I have watched every top gear show at least 3 times and i can assure you Jeremy likes the M cars, especially the e46 M3. Before the RS4 he hailed it as the best car in its class. When the e9x M3 came out he stated that although he c63 has the power he loves the technical precision of the M3. HE hailed the M5 as the best four door saloon ever if u keep the M button on. Jeremy does like BMW M's. He just hates the fact that every second person in britain buys a 3 series.
